We believe that the best environment for social and emotional learning is one that reflects the broad and richly diverse community in which our children live. Interacting with other children, and their families, who have different cultures and beliefs, supports the development of understanding, empathy, and compassion.
Sage Montessori strives to provide a school that is welcoming to all families and to enroll and intentionally diverse community for the benefit of all children.
The Montessori Method is an approach to early childhood education that supports each individual child to pursue their interests and developmental needs without pressure to conform to group activities and schedules. Educators get to know every child so that we can help them connect to a rich and varied curriculum of independent activities.
We believe that food in an early education setting is more than just sustenance, it is a learning experience that can go beyond sack lunches to provide opportunities for children to learn food preparation skills, utensil handling skills, manners, grace and courtesy, nutrition, cultural awareness, and for sensory exploration.
We prepare all meals on site and invite the children to participate in meal preparation as much as is safely possible.
Sliding Scale Tuition
We recognize that each family is doing everything possible to make a meaningful contribution towards their children’s education and we have developed an innovative tuition policy that provides opportunities for all families to enroll in our program.
